I just wanted to thank you for coming to me in my dreams yesterday morning, I could not believe it, Thankyou for the wonderful hug you gave me, I did not want to let you go, Also for the laghing with each other Over the shorts and top you was wearing, You said to me don't start laghing love at what I am wearing, But I could not help it , You standing there in my bedroom with shorts on and a cartoon top on with your black saddles, We both started laghing so much , I no you had come to me in my dream to let me no you was at peace, I opened my eyes and looked at the bedroom door to see if you was still there, But then realised I was just dreaming, I cried 😢 and cried, But today it has made me so happy that you have made contact with me. Morning my dear father-in-law, I have put a photo on of you and your dear mum, Can you remember when she finally came over, ohh she was so excited, We used to write letters to her all the time, I still have the letters, The little blue air mail ones, I remember her saying to me in a letter that she sent me and Carey, I am so excited I am finally coming after all these years, Bless her, I remember her sitting up my garden turning Courtney's school trousers up for me, she loved to help everyone, A beautiful lady that loved her family, You was just like her, Family ment everything to her just like you. Hello my dear father-in-law, George, I was just sitting hear looking at your picture, With 😢 streaming from my eyes, I cannot believe I will not see you anymore, 45 years you have been in my life, All those wonderful times spent with you over the years, All are little chats on the phone, All the years spent at your house in wykin Coventry, Wonderful memories, Every Sunday courtney, Carey, and me would come round and have dinner with you, Then you would drop of to sleep on the sofa, because you was so.. So.. Tired, you worked so hard All your life for your family, You helped everyone that needed your help, I used to laugh when you dropped of to sleep, For some reason you was always fighting someone in your sleep 😴 It was so funny to watch, I will always remember you as a strong and giving man, I cannot believe all these years have gone by so quickly, But I thank you for the 45 wonderful years that I did have the chance, to have you in my life, I no you where my father-in-law. To my amazing Grandad, I love and miss you so much. Really can't imagine a world without you in it, you left a lasting imprint on me. You cared about family deeply and taught me how to be a man of the family and loyal, never forgetting anyone of your own. You taught me the importance of enjoying life. There was no one as playful or cheeky as you, I will always remember seeing you run away from having your haircut giggling as you went downstairs when mum was calling you for the trim in Zimbabwe. Also playing dominoes and cards with you, joking and teasing and of course 'CRICKET!'. Sleep well Grandad <3
